Joining

Triallist.jpg

Joining (JAWA) is a simple process which takes around 3 weeks on average. To give you an easier understanding of how to join (JAWA) let's use server visitor Bob as an example.

If Bob wanted to join the clan, he'd visit our forums and create an account. Once SiLink approved Bob's account he would be able to post an application. Before posting an application Bob would need to read the Joining (JAWA) topic first and follow the instructions there.

Once Bob has read the Joining (JAWA) topic he can then post an application on the forums. If Bob has read the Joining (JAWA) page and everything is correct then a Council Member would reply to his application and inform Bob that the clan would get back to him as soon as they have an answer. Depending on Bob's activity it could take a day or a week to get a response from the clan since all Members vote based on their encounters with Bob in-game. If Bob receives 20 Yes votes he will get a reply from a Council Member giving him further instructions on what to do. If Bob received at least 10 No votes then his application will be denied, he will then be told why and that he can re-apply in 2 months to ensure he can work on the reasons why.

Once Bob has received confirmation from a Council Member in his application that he has been accepted into the clan he can start wearing the (JAWA-T)Bob name. The "T" stands for Trialist and Bob would wear that tag for 2 weeks until a Council Member gives him the good news that he passed. Bob will then be welcomed into the clan and given the name (JAWA)InitiateBob or (JAWA)IniBob if he prefers. He will also be able to access the (JAWA) Central where members can chat amongst each other in privacy. He will also be able to access the Promotions, Demotions & Removals board where he will find a welcome topic waiting for him as well as a welcoming private message from SiLink in his inbox showing Bob his WikiJawa profile and giving him some options such as if he wants to add his birthday to the Calendar. From then on, Bob will advance up the ranks quickly or slowly depending on his activity and involvement in the community.

Leader
Leader.png
There is currently two leaders (Nightwing & SiLink) however in the past there have been many co-leaders however over time those leaders merged into the council due to SiLink being able to cope with all the work. The clan leader has the complete control over all services in the clan and manages them on a daily basis. Obtaining this rank is nearly impossible due to the rarity of an open post becoming available and due to the increase in workload given to The Council. This rank is given to councils who have proven themselves capable of taking on the job and is willing to sacrifice a large chunk of their spare time for the clan.

Council

This rank is given out to members who have proven to want to help the clan in a big way and have obvious leadership skills. When a new Council Member is needed in the clan, SiLink will create a topic in (JAWA) Central asking members who are interested in the job to private message him by a certain date. Once SiLink has all the interested candidates listed he will post the list in the council section on the forum. The current council will then vote in 3 topics which cut the candidates down to their final decision e.g. from 10 to 5 then 5 to 3 then 3 to 1. Once the current council all agree, the new council member will be announced in a large ceremony on the (JAWA) Temple map. Council members have the responsibility of making all the decisions in the clan, even the leader (SiLink) only has a single vote like everyone else on the council however if there is a even tie e.g. 4 Yes and 4 No votes then he will have the final say.

Lord

This rank is given to Council Members who have stepped down after at least a years service. This is to recognize their long time contribution to the council and clan as a whole.

Master
Master.png
This is one of the most difficult ranks to obtain as it requires 2 parts. One part being passing the Elite trials and the other holding the Disciple rank. For example if Bob was recognized for his long time loyalty to the clan and earned the Disciple rank after passing the Elite trials then he automatically receives the rank of Master. It doesn't matter which way you achieve the rank whether you obtain Elite or Disciple first. Note: You must either hold the Elite rank or pass the elite trials to achieve Master... if you have earned the Elite rank in the past but left then you will need to retake the Elite trials.

Disciple

This rank is sort of an extension to the cyan rank series as it is earned by long time loyalty to the clan. You will eventually receive this rank if you've been with (JAWA) for around 2 years or so however the rank will come a lot sooner to those who are are helping in the community, for example being an Ambassador and/or Server Admin. Council members can achieve this rank if they decide to step down from The Council if they do not qualify for the Lord rank.

Elite
Elite.png
This rank is the only skill based rank in the clan if you don't include the Master rank. To apply to become an Elite a member must hold at least the rank of Guardian. Becoming an Elite is not a simple task and currently requires you to face 5 Trial Masters in the current council with each having their own unique set of tests. Whilst the council want members to advance up the ranks, they do not want to give it to them so easily which is why SiLink has requested that all Trial Masters try their absolute best to stop them from achieving the rank. To become an Elite you will need to pass at least 3 out of 5 of the Trial Masters set of tests. At the end of each set of tests you will not be told whether you have passed or not as that will be announced in a ceremony at the end of the trials.

Guardian

This is the final rank in the cyan ranks and is given around 5 months after receiving the Knight rank. This is the final point where you advance through the ranks the normal way as the yellow ranks are to be achieved and not gained by simply being just a member. You may also apply to take The Elite Trials. Activity can make this rank come quicker and lack of activity will make this rank up come much slower.

Knight

This is the fifth rank in the clan and is given around 4 months after receiving the Jedi rank. Getting this far in the rankings proves to The Council that you are loyal and thus you will be considered for positions such as Server Admin and Ambassador. Activity can make this rank come quicker and lack of activity will make this rank up come much slower.
